Dear Editor,
Recently at a Steelband function in Tobago that was widely reported
in the media, Jack Warner gave several reasons why he would never be seen at Emancipation celebrations in this country. But could Mr Warner as head of TIDCO, also tell us which other national festival he would not be willing to attend [I wonder what the PM thinks about that] and for what reasons.
At that very same function Mr Warner came down on the Arima and Point Fortin burgesses annual jam and wine festivities and it's link with the steelband. Does Mr Warner know that everytime this country wins a football match, and it would be many hopefully, it is celebrated by the said jam and wine in the city and one of the steelbands most prominent on such occasions is led by a gentleman with the surname Kuei Tung.
The goodly Mr Warner also complained [welcome to him] that while trying to
get to Tobago he suffered at the airbridge and would write to protest, immediately, to the Prime Minister about the unsatisfactory conditions which exists. However should Jack try the Panorama anytime soon he certainly would have some more letter writng and complaining to do. This is also the same gentleman, who said that the nurses was complaining unfairly to his government and his Prime Minister because the problems were there for a long time now, and it is all politics by people who were opposed to the ruling party.
Now that you are complaining when something affects you personally Mr Warner, I hope people don't call you names, cast aspersions, question your motives and accuse you of wanting to bring down the "Indian Government". Welcome to the world the vast majority of us live in Mr Warner, but someone would have to come and tell us very quickly, are you the right man for the job or what?
