Former Honduran president Manuel Zelaya has been in exile in the Dominican Republic for over two months since the inauguration of Porfirio Lobo. While Lobo helped broker Zelaya's safe passage to the Caribbean country his administration seemingly doesn't want him to return to Honduras.

The owner of the Honduran newspapers El Heraldo and La Prensa, Jorge Canahuati Larach, who represented the press of his country in the last general assembly of the Inter American Press Association (IAPA), paid for a public relations campaign in the U.S. to legitimize the coup, in the House of Representatives and U.S. Senate, according to research by the Honduran newspaper El Libertador.

Scores of students, trade unionists, and teachers of the National Autonomous University of Honduras (UNAH) marched to the National Congress today in protest, due to the current crisis of this university, demanding that it be not closed.
