• Alleged Assassination Plot against Manuel Zelaya Denounced in Honduras

  The Committee for the Defense of Human Rights in Honduras reported an alleged assassination plot against former President Manuel Zelaya. President of that organization, Andres Pavon, said the plan would be carried out in case Zelaya decides to return home. It would be implemented by Colombian assassins and paramilitaries hired by coup structures that still operate with impunity in Tegucigalpa.
