Should Chavez resign the Presidency? Posted: Sunday, October 6, 2002 Chavez Frias should resign the Presidency of Venezuela! Responding in public for the first time to a raid on his home in the early hours of Saturday morning and serious accusations that he was involved in a conspiracy to overthrow the government, former Venezuelan Ambassador to the United States, Dr. Enrique Tejera Paris has told television viewers that he has always said there should be a necessary change in government by democratic means.
