Venezuela Says U.S. Preparing For Invasion Posted: Tuesday, April 11, 2006 A U.S. aircraft carrier strike group is moving into the Caribbean this week to start two months of naval exercises. The military is dismissing allegations by Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez that it is planning an invasion of his country.
